healthcare in america

I truely find it to be a shame that the most powerful country in the WORLD (usa) cannot even properly take care of its own citizens. Today, I wittnessed first hand exactly how poor the system is while accompanying someone to the hospital. We were there for a little over an hour to deliver some test results, but because of the low quality of organization the patient had to retake all the tests because the doctors were unable to deliver the results in a timely fashion.
Each person we asked for directions was rude and unhelpful, and each doctor sent us to a different department which we were again redirected multiple times. its truly chaos. i dont see how they keep up with things if they cant even point us in the right direction!
finally by the time we were leaving the hospital and paying $5 for parking because everyone was so unhelpful and wasting our time, my friends doctor had called to let us know he had JUST then faxed over the results... after an hour of having to redo everything; we had called in early as instructed, but were not met with a likewise respect, if we are on time, i think they should be too. its very unprofessional.

People complain about Obama's socialist hopes for US health care, but why do they complain?
because they are ignorant and scared of change. but thats exactly what we need, CHANGE!!
look at other countries who have chosen to socialize health care. There are few complaints, and little mismanagement. people are still able to choose their doctors, and dont have to choose between feeding their family and treating diseases which are easily treatable but life threatening if not taken care of. its so pathetic that we should have to pay to live a healthy life. our constitution promotes life liberty and the pursuit of happiness, but how can people live if they cant afford to stay healthy? in such a "great" country shouldnt we all be free to live an unailed life??

people are scared that universal health would cost us greatly, but in reality, the US spents 40% more per capita on health care than any socialized government.. if thats not enough, consider this: only 25% of americans can afford their healthcare, that means 75% of our nation is at risk of getting sick and not recovering, thats mostly blue collar folks that do our blue collar jobs, without them our privilidged lives wouldnt be possible.
i could continure to rant over this for hours, but my words will probably get jumbled and lose their point, so go look at this link and discover for yourself how in the dark america is about health care..
